Closing out Cannes

Winning isn’t everything, but it certainly doesn’t suck when it happens.

What an incredible week it was. 9 JSM projects across 9 different and stellar agencies were recognized at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

 It’s just so hard to win these things with such amazing work submitted from around the world. Immense thanks to McCann, m:united, BBDO Worldwide, VaynerMedia, Droga5, Deutsch, CP+B , Casanova McCann and Momentum Worldwide for your trust and faith in us and the impossibly gifted and talented composers, producers and musicians at JSM Music for the opportunity to collaborate and partner with you on such incredible and passionate work. To say we are all humbled is a massive understatement. We have always believed that the work we create is only as good as our clients allow it to be. We always push for better and never settle for less. Fortunately, our clients have allowed us, and continue to allow us, that latitude. We get to work with the finest talent in the world, across every possible creative discipline, always creating something from nothing, reaching hundreds of millions of people with our craft, and then, if and when all the stars align, we get rewarded with some shiny new hardware to put in a closet or on a shelf somewhere. If not, whatever, as long as the work we collectively create is at the highest level and truly meaningful to everyone involved. Mission, always accomplished. When all is said and done, the true meaning of the life and career we create for ourselves is all about the people we chose to surround ourselves with. It’s really that simple. And, as a result, it’s really that wonderful.
